ASUS A73E-XA1 Critical Reviews

ASUS A73E-XA1 17.3-Inch Versatile Entertainment Laptop – Dark Grey Asus makes good laptops without the added price of a fashionable brand. This laptop is beneficial to the value. I’ m surprised it has a blu-ray player. Only comment is that my eyes apparently strain when I stare for the screen. Not sure if it’ s because of the actual resolution or the refresh rate nevertheless it doesn’ t seem very apparent. Read more

ASUS A53E-EH91

ASUS A53E-EH91 15.6-Inch Versatile Entertainment Laptop (Black) Needed a $400-laptop being a present for my grandfather-in-law. Nothing fancy, just 15" screen, keyboard, & decent speakers. I wanted to avoid AMD-powered laptops. This one seemed to fit the bill, & it works fine. It’ s fairly light, sub-6 lb. The screen is a lot bright, the keyboard layout is standard, mousepad is comfortable. The battery lasts one or two hours, at least, I didn’ t time it. There is enough RAM for virtually every basic office task, & the dual-core CPU is plenty fast for the similar tasks.
It comes preloaded with lots of crapware, but if you burn a few recovery DVDs (there exists HP Recovery Manager installed – but realize that it only allows you to burn ONE copy — DVD, DVD-DL, or USB Flash) – it is possible to restore the system with minimal software & drivers – which provides just plain old Home windows 7 install with individuals & minimal HP software. The laptop works only fine, & for what it is, you can’ t be too picky – it’ s a cheap plastic material budget box that’ s not too rapidly, & not too flashy, but works fine. Oh, & the built-in Altec Lansing audio speakers are great!
Windows 7 performance rating – 4. 6
processor 5. 9
RAM 5. 9
Graphics 4. 6
Gaming 5. 5
Hard disk: 5. 9
Only couple of style issues: the laptop lid incorporates a very sharp edge, I can even foresee someone cutting face to face it. Also, for the same motive, the laptop lid is difficult to open.
And finally: on Amazon front web page, go to Computers & Laptops, & search for 15" laptops with 4GB connected with RAM, under $500, with Intel Pentium CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT. At the time connected with writing this, there were only 7 effects, & only a couple lap tops for $400 – this one, & an Asus with total keyboard (normal numeric). I liked this a single better. Acer Aspire S3-951-6646 Ultrabook

Acer Aspire S3-951-6646 Ultrabook I am just an IT professional and VERY picky when it comes to my laptop. I read the reviews for this and was mixed between the good and bad on here, so I decided to see a Microsoft Store and look it over on my own. I immediately was amazed how thin and light this was as being a MacBook Air (that we used and had previous to). I compared this towards Samsung series 9 notebook and although yes My spouse and i wish it had any non-glossy screen it even now beats it in sale price and performance.

Pros:
-Laptop does not demonstrate any traces of finger prints (which annoyed me with other laptops)
-Screen is very highly detailed and clear. Yes, its glossy but its a “comfortable glossy” just like the macbook air
-Keys are very receptive and comfortable. You do have to press a bit more but I easily got utilized to it.
-The touchpad is the most beneficial I’ve ever used about any Windows laptop. Very smooth and responsive just like a macbook.
-Great performance as it offers the i5 processor
-Super fast bootup along with screen on/off time
-Simple and basic when it comes to ports (2) USB and HDMI that are positioned perfectly in a corner. I see no desire for laptops to have tons of ports on the attributes and back adding bulk to it.
-For this price its a steal in comparison to what other manufacturers are generally charging. Read more
